Community Causes We Support
We are passionate about the community causes we support in the Cayman Islands. These causes principally focus on advancing the education of youngsters in the Cayman Islands through reading challenges, one-on-one student support and mentoring (through our volunteers) for primary school students in their reading development, supporting the Cayman Islands YMCA, and sponsoring reading support programmes in schools. We are proud of the contributions we are making in primary schools in the Cayman Islands.
Loeb Smith Attorneys’ Readers of the Month Challenge
Our Loeb Smith Attorneys’ Readers of the Month Challenge for year 4 and year 5 primary school students in Savannah and Bodden Town, Cayman Islands is designed to encourage and reward students to read as much and as widely as possible. Readers are rewarded on a monthly basis and at the end of the academic year. We work with the schools to provide volunteers to attend the schools on a weekly basis for students to have 1 to 1 reading sessions with them and give positive feedback and pointers to advancing and widening their reading interests.
